King of Cool !

Ah what is "cool"? I think it is a state of mind. It is that feeling inside when everything is right and you can do no wrong, or at least you just don't friggen care if it's right or wrong. Steve McQeen is so classic cool. He's one of those guys you just want to hang out with because he lives it like he thinks it. RAW I am what I am. Ask for everything thing you want because the worst they can say is NO. And if they do say NO you have not slipped back any but remained in the same place. But your chances are better if you just ask ! They might just say yes. My son is 8. We go to basketball games and he always wants to try the half court shot at half time. Now he has missed everytime so far but he is so much closer to making that shot than I am because he gets his ass out of the stands and throws that ball with all his might. He is cool !
I find there are times in my life I am so damn confidant and things seem to fall into my lap. I imagine Steve had this happen day after day. Lucky bastard! I vow to get myself back to that cool guy point even if I'm only cool to myself which is where I think it all comes from confidence. Doing instead of dreaming that's what it is all about. Not caring so much of what others think and more about what you think. Yes you are bound to piss of some people. That's ok. Jealousy is a sad thing. Well what are your thoughts? Who is cool today? And what makes them cool. A few others--- Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Clint, The Duke, Clooney? Christopher Walken, Dennis Leary these guys I could hang with.
