recovery

i don't know why i always think i don't have to recover from anything in my life. This has been a great lesson. I'm a week and a half out of surgery and just starting to feel like myself again. I'm a bit scared to do anything to physical because my whole mid section is held together with stitches and glue. very strange feeling. ahhh this to will pass.

i brought my son to work yesterday. I love him so much. I put him right to work, and outfitted in the proper gear. days like these make me realize how wonderful and full my life is. Here is to Chef Tristan.

what a great night.

My boy and i went out to spend the night at my friends cabin on smith pond. It is nights like theses that are so great. just quite time alone. The cabin is the only one on the pond and the only road to the pond is closed to everyone else. so private. We stoked the wood stove until it got so hot, we had to open the windows to sleep. just get out and do something, it feels good. oh and we started our list of things that make us happy. On that list is our night at the cabin.
