As the day begins

Well I started the day with coffee and e-mails. I decided to run the jfk 50 next month on my birthday. So after setting up airfare, rental car, and hotel arraignments I got ready for a run in the woods. The trails near my house are so wonderful. Wet and muddy, slippery, it's more of an adventure run now. The sky was grey and the air cold but still felt a t-shirt and shorts was a good choice. Patagonia all the way.
the run was great. Confirming how much I love being outside. Took a shower, and I got to tell you this lather soap is the best. The scent of lemongrass is amazing. I went to town with my Pit "Mini" she commands attention when she walks anywhere. We went to get more coffee(double mocha not the sweet choc. Kind but grown up with bitter sweet coco. No whip) Ran into a friend there. We talk while I waited for my fuel. Life is good. Think sweet thoughts all the way home. Tastes, smells, feelings, external and internal. I think I will set up this blog in sections based on the 7 sins. More later. A coydog is half coyote half domesticated dog. That's me
